Our Family History

A living page for family history: where this family came from, the generations before, and — over time — the generations after. Add to this whenever there is something worth remembering.

Michael

Michael was born on November 4, 1997, at Samsung Cheil Hospital in Seoul, Korea, the son of Veronica Han Song-i and Thomas Lee. He immigrated to the United States at the age of three, and was raised and educated there — a graduate of Jesuit High School in Tampa, Florida, and of Yale University in Connecticut. He and Christina are parishioners of a Korean Catholic community in Manhattan, and their faith — in Mary and in Jesus — is the center of their life together.

This is a first draft, written with love by Michael’s father — Michael and Christina, please make it your own.

Christina

Christina was born in Korea, then moved to the United States, where she lived in New Jersey until she was nine. She returned to Korea and finished high school in Daegu, before coming back to the United States for university, where she became a medical doctor.
